Reid - 5/8/2015

Reid had several bites of kix cereal and ate raisins for breakfast.  For lunch he ate a large serving of ground beef, two servings of elbow noodles, two servings of apple slices, and two servings of mixed fruit.  After he was done he drank his almond milk and then some water and was holding his hands beside his mouth aiming some big burps in my direction.  I laughed of course, and that was more than enough encouragement for more of the same!!  :)  He was also talking about how Tate can burp!  Ha! But he did manage to say, "excuse me" so it's all good!

Lauralea read several books to Reid before she left for work and he was loving it.  I also read lots more to him later in the morning!  We love our Reid and it's nice to have him and the Templeton family back in our Program.

I propped baby Layla (3 month old) up in the chair and and asked Reid if he'd go stand by her so I could take a picture.  So cute.  These are the only two kids at Daycare today!  Cooper went to the Family Farm, Elliott is with Family on vacation in California, and Sophia is having a Mommy day.

We did some painting at Art Time and he painted in a circular motion and the end result looks pretty cool.  However, at this age it's all about the process, not the result!  It's fun to put paint on the paper and let them experiment with it.  I asked him if he wanted to use his fingers as well, but he wasn't interested in that.  :)

A couple of times he acted like he was a little bored so I just started building (without saying anything) with the legos and he came and joined right in.  I stepped back and watched him continue to build.  He built all the tower you see in the picture.  I did the same again later with the stacking cups.
