Reid ate two servings of chicken and cheese quesadilla, couple bites of carrots, and ate mandarin oranges for breakfast. One of my routines is having the kids sit at the table and wait for their turn to wash when they are done eating. This is only the third day for Reid and he did very good at lunch. I reminded him and went to help Cooper for a minute. Reid was still sitting and waiting to wash when I returned. I was very proud of him and told him "thank you very much for listening to your Gary." He said, "You're welcome." That was so sweet and cute. Nice job Reid.
Cooper handed Reid his bib and was saying, "Mine is red and yours is green." Reid said, "I don't like green. Tate like green!" Ha ha. Green is Cooper's favorite color!
I found some "Bathtub Finger-paint Soap" and I used these trays because Walmart only had two colors and one was yellow so I didn't think it'd show up on the yellow table. The first thing Cooper asked - "Don't you have green!?" Reid was not impressed with the whole idea, but he liked watching Cooper. I asked him if he wanted to play in it and Reid said, "That would be icky!!" As you can tell by the picture Cooper had it up to his elbows. He said, "I'm all covered in bath paint!"
They built with blocks and we had Story Time after Reid arrived. They also played lots on the climber and igloo; jumping onto the mattress. They do it over and over - working very hard at it!
Right before Nap Time Reid asked me to turn on the fish tank. (I have a very small cylinder shaped tube with fake fish! The best kind, but they do look real!) I said I would as soon as he woke up from his nap. He gave that some thought and a couple minutes later said, "My Mom told me not to sleep here!" Oh man that was sooo funny. But he was really serious and I didn't want to laugh. I responded, "I think she said that she wanted you to sleep here." :) He shook his head "no." But he totally cooperated with me. It was very cute. Nice try Reid!
