Reid ate three servings of cinnamon toast and two servings of cantaloupe for breakfast. For lunch he ate turkey slices, dinner roll, couple bites of green beans, and ate mangoes. I apparently gave Reid a pink handled fork at lunch and he said, "Mine is pink!" (And he wasn't happy about it!) Ha ha! So I asked him if he liked pink. (He had a very serious look on his face!) "No! I like blue!" :) Sorry! Before breakfast I gave Reid a hug after he washed his hands and told him I loved him. He said, "I love you too Gary." Soooo sweet! I forgot to ask him if he still loved me after giving him a pink fork!! :)
Some more block building pictures; Cooper started building these on 'edge' and continued all the way across the room. Reid joined him as soon as he was done eating breakfast. "Look what we built Gary!" Cooper said. Earlier, Reid was building a tower and Cooper was acting like he was ready to push it over; but he managed to refrain! Reid said, "Don't knock over my tower!" Cooper responded, "Gary tell me to knock it over!" :)
Apparently this block building is hard work because they had to rest from their labor! It was actually quite sturdy and it stood up to Elliott messing with it, although he eventually knocked it apart while the big boys were having fun with play dough. Speaking of sturdy, I turned around and Reid (followed soon by Cooper) was on top of this row of blocks walking along very carefully. Yikes! I had to redirect that play! An accident waiting to happen!!
Ok, here's a picture that is not about building blocks!! These two boys had fun with the play dough and worked hard at it. As you can see in the picture I have several things for them to use; pizza cutters, rolling pins, plastic knife, fork, and spoon, and lots of cookie cutters. Reid was impressed with the cookie cutters and was naming them all; "Butterfly, heart, star, pig, rabbit, dolphin, duck, and a couple more.
