Reid ate two servings of whole wheat bagel and ate three servings of apricots for breakfast. For second servings I hold out the choices for them to pick one. Reid always points at two. That makes me laugh. Before starting to eat Reid said, "We already ate breakfast!" And then commenced inhaling his plate of food! Ha! He cracks me up! For lunch he ate chicken, elbow noodles, peas, and three servings of applesauce.
Cooper and Reid were exploring different ways to play on the new little couch (picture below). We also sang songs, read books, did some coloring at Art, and worked on sign language. Cooper was pretty cute doing signs and was proud of himself for being able to tell Reid what each sign meant. Reid was intently watching and super interested! Very cool! He also got a kick out of our singing time. I loved how he was clapping along - very enthusiastically!
My neighbor Willy was out mowing his lawn and he always looks to see if the kids might be at the window. So Cooper waved and said, "Hi Big Willy!" (That's my name for Willy.) This was Reid's first time waving at Willy and I liked his version - "Hi Big Wooly!" (Willy will think that's hilarious!)
Reid was sitting on the couch and Elliott was standing in front of him tugging playfully on Reid's blue blanket. Reid just grinned at him and pulled his blanket away. So Elliott started tugging on Reid's socks. It was pretty cute because Elliott was intently watching Reid's reaction. (Which was pretty mild!) I'm not sure what Elliott was thinking or expecting, but after that he just wandered off to explore something else. :)
