Reid - 10/30/2015

Reid ate malt-o-meal cereal and two servings of raisins for breakfast.  For lunch he ate ground beef, three servings of whole wheat elbow noodles, ate apple slices, and two servings of mixed fruit.  Cooper was wanting more meat, but it was all gone and he said, "Reid ate it all!"  Ha!  Well Cooper, everyone had lots of meat, but I agree, Reid's eating everything else in sight!  Ha!  The meal time conversation today was primarily about who had the most halloween candy at their house!  :)

When Reid was heading out for lunch he fell across some blocks and he said, "I'm ok!"  Nobody had inquired about his well-being, but thanks for the heads-up Reid!  Ha!  I went out to the garbage and I knocked on the door on my way back inside.  I said, "Knock knock!"  Reid said, "Pizza!!"  Ha ha!  He does say some funny things.  Love that boy!!

Reid and Cooper played with the blocks and when I told them I was going to take their picture they both immediately started saying, "Cheese!"  We read lots of books, did some halloween stickers for art, and the boys did lots of jumping.  They both wanted to jump over the top of Sophie, but they both listened to me and didn't do it!!  Good job boys!!

Reid had "Sophie's Daycare Blanket" and was covering Hudson and Sophie.  Sophie was giggling and basically rolled up in the blanket

Reid - 10/29/2015

Reid arrived later in the morning so this will be a short Blog, but I'm posting a couple of pictures.  For Lunch he ate chicken, two servings of crackers, bites of sweet potatoes, and three servings of cherries.  He's getting to like the cherries...initially he didn't really like them very much and they do have a "different" taste.  They were fresh ones that I pitted and froze.

This first picture is actually from earlier in the week, but I hadn't posted it yet.  Reid was putting these ice creams up to his eyes and said, "Hey Gary! I got funny eyes!!"  Ha!  He made another funny comment this morning.  I took off Baby Hudson's pants, but he still had on his diaper and a onesie. Reid asked, "Why you take off his underwear?!?"  Ha ha!

After Reid arrived these two basically played on the mattress the entire time;  except for reading stories.  I "borrowed" Kenzie's bird for Reid to play with.  I may catch heck when she gets here, but I decided to risk it!  :)  I can always ask forgiveness!  There is a button you push and the bird sings and as you can see in the picture he was loving it!!

Reid - 10/27/2015

Reid arrived around 10:00  At lunch he ate Chicken quesadilla (no cheese), ate carrots, and two large servings of mandarin oranges.

I loaded up the Blog today with pictures - three from yesterday and one from today.  The Cline kids (well two of them) and the Templeton boys had lots of fun.  And it was fun and entertaining for me as well!  At times it was hilarious!!  :)  In this first picture Kenzie is on Bode's back - Reid and Cooper are on Tate.

And everyone is on Tate.  Reid is in the front, then Kenzie, Cooper, and Bode.  Tate was loving this; he said, "This is the best day of my life!"  Ha!  Then he added; "Well, also the day I smoked the quarterback!"  Cooper looks slightly squished!  The boys were all pretty soaked with sweat from lots of hard and vigorous play!  I LOVE it!

This picture needs some explanation.  We had both bears out: The Panda Bear and Big Bear.  (You can see them in the pictures above!)  So both bears along with Kenzie and Cooper are in the igloo and Bode is using his head to pack everything and everyone in there.  It was sooooo hilarious!  I especially liked how Bode's head has disappeared!

I've bragged to everyone who'll listen that Tate is soooo good with the babies.  He enjoys them a lot! I took several pictures of him yesterday and I really like how he's so focused on Hudson's face in this picture.  Good job Tate.  Notice the "burp rag" on Tate's chest.  He wasn't worried a bit about Hudson puking on him even after I (and Kenzie) told him Hudson does that!!  :)

After the Templeton Boys left Kenzie built this block cage for Cooper.  Cooper and Reid were playing with Kenzie's creation again this morning.  Reid wasn't impressed when he was in there.  He said, "Get me out of here!  Really dark!!"  Did anyone see Reid's hands in the "air holes" half way down the front?  Believe me, I had to work (and talk) fast and furious to get this picture before Reid came busting out of there.  :)

Reid - 10/26/2015

Reid had bites of cheerios and ate banana for breakfast.  For lunch he ate two servings of peanut butter & jelly (substitute for cheese sandwich), couple sips of tomato soup, and a bite of lettuce salad. The breakfast conversation was about the color of cows.  :)  Cooper asked me; "Are cows white?"  Yes, they can be.  "A green cow?" Reid said, "I saw green cow."  Where?  "At movie!" Reid answered.  Cooper said, "We're going to movie theater."  Then, very randomly from my perspective, Cooper said, "My Dad is FAST!"  Ha ha ha!!  (So there's two people who believe that - Casey and Cooper!)  My answer?  "Well, he better slow down or Reid's Dad will give him a ticket!"

Cooper was sad after Mom drove by the window and was trying to continue being sad, but that only lasted about 10 seconds because he was watching Reid wrestle with the Panda Bear and Cooper said, "You're funny Reid!"  And the picture below is what followed!  Later, those two were building with the legos and Cooper held out his creation to Reid and said, "Reido, I built this for you."  So Reid held out his creation and said, "I made this for ME too!"  LOL  Oh man I roared!  (And scared poor Hudson!)  It is so hard to predict what they are going to say and they make me laugh!!!  At least they had a common goal in mind for their projects!!

Reid was peeking in the igloo at Sophie and making her laugh.  He was also sitting on the top of the igloo and thumping on it.

Cooper and Reid were looking at the three alphabet posters and finding their letters; "C" and "R" and Cooper said, "We're on this one too!!"  They also built with the building blocks and I took a picture of the tower.  They both were saying "Green tower with Blue on top!"  Their two favorite colors.

Reid - 10/23/2015

Reid was here for lunch: ate ground beef, three servings of whole wheat noodles, ate peas, and applesauce.  This isn't about Reid, but I think you'll find it funny!  At lunch Coopr yelled, "Sophie messing around!"  Ha! That's one of several things they do everyday that amuses me; squeal on each other.  And it frequently happens when they are engaging in essentially the same activity!!

Watch out Sophie!  That Cooper is trying to plant a kiss on you!!  We built this little house with the blocks and the kids all squeezed in.  Cooper said, "This is very cozy."  Ha ha!

Reid was putting the cones up to his ear and I asked him if he could hear the ocean.  Cooper did the same thing and asked Reid, "Do you hear Kenzie?!"  Ha!!  So of course Reid had to ask Cooper, "Do you hear Bode?!"

The first thing Reid headed for when he got here was the ice cream and cones.  He saw the ice cream and he got excited; "Arrrgghh!!"  Sounded like a pirate!  :)

Reid - 10/21/2015

Reid's Blog will be short today - he got here shortly before 11:00 - but I'll make a couple of notes.  For lunch he ate bite of bean & cheese burrito, ate sweet potatoes, and tropical fruit.  He spotted a bean in his burrito and didn't want to take a bite, but he did, and seemed to like it.  (Not enough to take another bite yet!)  :)

He and Cooper were chasing around and around the mattress having fun this morning.  Then they were bopping each other on the butt and pretending to get knocked over.  Pretty silly, but they were having a good time and burning up some energy.

Sophie went through a time-period here when she was experiencing a bit of stranger anxiety.  But she seems to be over that stage and is totally comfortable with TJ now.  As soon as you shut the door this morning TJ, Sophie started waving bye to you.  (Little Stinker!)  It's amazing how often that happens; the parent or someone shuts the door and the child starts waving.

Lauralea was assembling a vacuum this morning (for ASUM) and of course you have to play in the box after it's empty.  Reid and Cooper had that cardboard box completely full of toys before Nap Time.  And of course Cooper's blanket was at the very bottom, but we found it!!  :)

Reid - 10/19/2015

Reid had bites of kix cereal and two servings of mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch he ate three servings of ham sandwich, ate peas, and two servings of mandarin oranges.  At breakfast I asked the boys what they did this weekend and Cooper was talking about "candles in pumpkin at the farm (Grandpa did carve some pretty cool pumpkins) - and they're hot - can't touch it."  Reid said, "I play and Dad said, "Go to Gary's!  And I ate all the toast!"  Cooper said, "That not true!"  Ha ha!  (I would bet the toast part is definitely true!)

Reid and Cooper had fun trying on Gary's new headlamp!  :)  Look at Reid's expression!  Love that! He never quit smiling.  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend so the kids were busy all morning.  The ice cream cones were a big hit like usual and the boys were identifying all the flavors!  There are 8 different colors and thank goodness they're all labeled!  (Should be a Federal Law!  Label Colors!  Ha ha!)  Cooper said the green was "green mint."  The white was "white mint."  The orange was "tangerine."  Reid said, "But I don't care!"  Ha!  He was too busy stashing the food toys to "hide from Hophie!"  :)  And ironically, all the time he was keeping them from Sophie he was saying, "Ice cream for everyone, ice cream for everyone!"  :)  Hmmm..

These swim goggles are so dark they look more like welding goggles to me!  :)  Before I took this picture Reid was flailing his arms around like he was swimming!  Ha!

Here's another picture with the swim goggles.  The boys were having fun jumping with the goggles on the mattress.
