Reid ate malt-o-meal cereal and two servings of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef, three servings of whole wheat elbow noodles, apple slices, and two servings of mixed fruit.
I took this picture of Cooper tickling Reid on the couch. Earlier, Reid had been tickling Sophie as well. He had his hand under her chin and said, "Me tickle him!!" Then during Story Time Sophie came over to the couch where we were reading and started "tickling" or grabbing Reid's foot. Reid said, "Him get my foot!!" (Someday he'll realize Him is a Her! Ha!) Sophie really likes Reid and he gets away with some things that she usually doesn't like! For example, yesterday he was wrapping his blanket around Sophie and she doesn't usually care for someone to constrain her that way - although he was doing it gently. She didn't yell at him and seemed to enjoy it. :) Also, speaking of blanket, Lauralea found Reid a nice soft blue blanket this morning. Thank you Lauralea!
Cooper was talking about Christmas and getting presents, etc. Reid said, "My Mom said Christmas come at 3:00!!" Ha! Wow! That's coming up pretty quickly!! So I asked him a question and I basically repeated what he said, "My Mom....???" He yelled, "NO!! MY MOM!!! With the emphasis on MY!! It was so funny!!
Reid was watching me cut up some apple slices for lunch and he started some longwinded rambling story that started with cutting up apples at his house. Here are the parts I could understand! "We cut them up when I a baby!" "Who cut them up?" I asked. Reid said, "Dad." Then he followed that up with a random announcement! "I born in 15, I born in 15. That in Mom's book!" And I'm thinking Mom needs to edit her book!! :)
