Reid ate three servings of waffles and two servings of pears for breakfast. Lesley, I think you said he'd ate at home this morning too! Ha ha ha! He said, "I can eat really fast with waffles!" At that point I went into the kitchen and put another waffle in the toaster!! Ha! :) I eventually shut him off like a bartender! I said, "I hope you can survive for two whole hours until Lunch! For lunch he ate half of tuna and crackers, some sweet potatoes, and ate mandarin oranges. Lunch was not his favorite so I'm getting ready and stockpiling for Snack after Nap time! I know he likes rice cakes and mangoes! Ha ha!
It was so nice for all of us to have Reid here today! I (and we) love that boy!! He was holding up legos pieces to both ears. (Kind of like you do with a sea shell.) I asked, "What do you hear?" He said, "Hounds." (At least that's what I heard!) Hounds?? "Noooooo!! Hound!!" Ha ha! Then I realized he said, "Sounds!" Sorry Reid!!
Cooper was engaged in building with the legos for the longest time. And as you can see in the pictures Reid was content to just watch. We read books and they engaged in other play as well, but this was kind of what they came back to each time.
Shortly after I took this picture Cooper said, "I finished it!" And Reid said, "Cool." :)
Also, notice the yellow bench in the picture. The boys were on the bench looking in the mirror and Reid was looking at his tooth (AGAIN) and I asked him what he was doing. "Looking at my Golden Tooth." So he showed Cooper and Cooper said, "Wow! Very Gold!" LOL
