Reid's journal will be a bit short today as he arrived about 10:30 - I think it was. For lunch he ate chicken, crackers, sweet potatoes, and cherries. These are some fresh cherries I'd pitted and then froze. I was curious if the kids would notice the difference from the canned cherries I usually serve. Cooper ate about half of his before he said, "There are some bad cherries." Ha ha ha! Reid was in agreement and they started talking about whose cherries were "more bad!!" (Except Reid ended up eating all of his "bad" cherries!) Cooper said, "They taste like apples!" So I told him if that was true he should like them because he likes apples! He said, "Nooooo, I love apples!" LOL - and in this particular case LOL means "Lack of Logic!!" :)
Cooper and Reid were playing with the yellow benches and they had their house; Reid said, "I gotta clean my room!" Then they were doing something else and Reid said, "After I clean up this mess!" Hmmmm....I detect a theme here!! Ha ha!! They said they were "watching TV" so I took this picture. I asked them, "What are you watching?" They both agreed; "Superman!!" Ha ha ha! At least they have high opinions of themselves!!
They pushed the two yellow benches together and (in the picture below) Reid is dropping down into the bathtub! :) They said they were "taking a bath." Cooper started singing, "Scrub a dub a dub a dub, wash my germs away...." That's a song we sometimes sing when we're washing our hands before and after meals.
