Reid said, "I'm gonna skip breakfast!" Brown rice and raisins. He did eat some raisins. For the most part I was ok with him "skipping breakfast" because I know he usually has something to eat before he comes to Little Treasures. I didn't want to make a battle out of it. Are you ok with that if it happens again? For lunch he ate meat balls, some flat bread, bite of carrots, and bite of apricots. After Lunch Bubba was still in his highchair and I'd went back into the Play Room. I heard Bubba start talking (Hey! You left me out here!! Actually I don't know what he said!! But he wasn't distressed so that was good!) It hit my funny bone and I was bent over laughing. Reid said, "Stop laughing and get Bubba!" Haha! That just made me laugh harder!
You said Reid didn't sleep real well last night Lesley so I had to take a couple pictures of his lounging this morning!! Ha! However, he wasn't grumpy at all so that was awesome. He actually was in a great mood and was quite playful. He tried to cover his face for both pictures and I was trying to trick him to look at me!! :)
I thought this next picture was cute because Reid was keeping a close eye on Sophie's progress and he did help her a little because this particular puzzle is a bit difficult. (He has a stool upside-down that he's sitting in.) Reid came back out to the Play Room and was telling me a long convoluted story that had something to do with helping Sophie do puzzles. In silliness, I asked him, "What's the primary point of this story?" He replied, "I don't know that part." LOL!
The kids had fun playing with the play dough this morning. If you look close you can see that Reid's play dough is a different color. He said, "Mine is purple with a little bit of park." (It has sparkle or glitter in it.) Hudson had lots of fun with the play dough this morning and also played with it very appropriately! And by that I primarily mean he did NOT try to put it in his mouth!! Ha! I told him he was doing a good job and Reid said, "Bubba getting good cause he's watching me!!" :) There certainly is a LOT of truth in that Reid! You are a good example to the little ones!!
