Reid ate two servings of bagel (maple flavored) and ate apricots for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, large servings of whole wheat elbow noodles, ate peas, and large servings of applesauce. I'd made the mistake of telling him this morning what we were having for lunch. Before 10:00 he asked. "When's it gonna be snack!?!" Uhhh...I think you probably mean lunch!? Ha! Does it seem like we frequently have elbow noodles!?! I checked the menu and it's scheduled every week! That's could be too much. However, one of those was originally mac-n-cheese, but I dropped the cheese because Reid couldn't have it and it became another noodle meal!! I probably will check with Lauralea and see if this is kosher with the Food Program. Reid is in favor 110%!! Ha!
I get such a kick out of so many of Reid's comments! That's one of the funnest parts of the work I do. Yesterday afternoon after nap time it was time to watch for Bode, Kenzie, and Riley. Our neighbor Susan always walks her son (Joel) home. They were walking by and I said, "Here comes Susan and Joel." Reid said, "I didn't know they could get up that early!!" LOL! I roared!! Maybe he thinks everyone takes a nap!!
We were watching the snow flakes come down this morning and Reid said, "You see that white things coming out of the sky?" Yes I do. "That is (s)no!!" Thank you! "I ate (s)no flake before!" Then he added; "I think it already Christmas!!" Haha! He's certainly looking forward to the possibility of scoring some more gifts!! Christmas has been a frequent theme lately! :)
I took this next picture to show you how rough Reid has it! Lounge mode this morning!! We read books and I took a picture of them doing some play dough as well. He had lots of fun and worked with the play dough for maybe 20 - 30 minutes. First he said, "Guess what I'm making!?" Not sure, what is it? "A big mess!!" LOL! Later, he was a bit more creative! He said, "My creation is gonna be something from Star Wars!"
