Reid ate toasted english muffin and two servings of oranges for breakfast. For lunch he had a couple bites of chicken with cabbage, bites of whole grain tortilla, and ate baked apples with cinnamon.
Here are a couple of notes from 2 other kid's Blogs of Reid being a "helper" this morning - and both times it was on his own initiative!! I always love that!
1.) Hudson likes to climb up the steps to the changing Table for diapering so that has been going very well. (I'm happy that the experiment with changing him on the floor is over!! Ha!!) He still does not like the feeling of "lifting" his legs and for some reason it causes him to "panic." Reid has been very sensitive to Bubba during that time (lifting the legs) and has worked very hard and tried different methods (on his own initiative) to distract Bubba. And it's been super helpful!
2.) Sophie was playing with the dress-up clothes and was wearing 3 or 4 tutus. She was struggling to get them off and Reid assisted her. After they got the tutus off Reid admonished her; "Now don't put on more than 1!!" Haha!
First picture - Reid stacked all the books from the book rack. He said, "This is pretty much all the books you have to read Gary; 2000 of em!!" Oh, ok.
What a blast to have our Nora back from her Denver trip today!! And I'm speaking for all of us at Little Treasures!! Reid hugged her when she arrived and then had to hug her again after I put her in the highchair. Also about Baby Nora; Apparently she is solely responsible for Reid's "speediness!!" I'll let him explain in 4 year old logic: "Gary! Do you know why I'm so fast?" No, but I'm anxious to hear this!! "Because I don't want to step on Baby Nora; that why I'm so fast!" Ok, now I understand. Speaking of Reid having amazing speed - he was running across the room and diving head-first at the Big Bears. He said; "Some people came me The Bomb." Hahaha!
All 5 of the kids were on the mattress while Sophie and Bubba were practicing synchronized gymnastics! You can see at the back of the mattress that Reid is pestering Aviilen with a stuffed rabbit and kept dangling it in front of her face.
