Reid - 3/7/2017

Reid ate most of a breakfast combo: scrambled eggs, sausage, and hash browns.  For lunch he ate some of everything except the vegetables: pork chop, three servings of whole wheat english muffin, no vegetable mix, and two servings of applesauce.  The vegetable mix was "roasted root vegetables."  Baby red potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, and Brussel sprouts.  Yes, I know brussel sprouts grow above ground, but 3 out of 4 is not bad!  :)   Reid looked at the roasted vegetables and disgustingly said, "That smell HORRIBLE!!"  LOL!!

Reid was happy at the beginning of breakfast, but in the middle of it he burst into tears and headed for his chair.  What was that about!?!  I figured it out.  It's hard to understand what he says when he's not crying!!  :)  Yesterday before he left he unfortunately saw some cinnamon rolls that we were having for snack.  He asked and I told him they were for snack.  (We were actually substituting them to get rid of them.  As we're moving to more healthier meals - and minimal sugar.  The Food Program will no longer allow me to serve them later this year.)  He finally said, "I wanted those cinnamon rolls that were for snack yesterday."  I felt bad for him.  But, he recovered and he ate 3 of whole wheat english muffin at lunch - warm because I was toasting them as he asked for more - and then putting butter on them.  He said, "Kind of like the cinnamon rolls, but not the same butter."  (Frosting)  He said, "They make my hands warm."  Also at lunch I had to change Nora's poopy diaper and when I came back inside Reid had rearranged the highchairs like you see in the first picture.  Ha! He proudly said, "I did that!"  :)  And the 2nd picture is also from Lunch Time.  He was helping keep Baby Nora happy while we finished up Lunch.

We read some books and had Art Time, but Reid wasn't interested in doing any Art.  After we read some books he said, "That boring sauce!!"  Haha!  Recently all he wants to talk about is his Xbox games and I know nothing about those.  He really wants me to watch him play it so I'll have to come over and watch him sometime soon.  He went into a long lengthy story, but all I understood was his "superior skills at the game" and something about "marvel battle ground."  Ha!  He also has been pestering me to finish putting together "his chair."  He mentioned it to Daddy TJ this morning as well.
