Reid - 1/13/2017

Reid didn't want any brown rice, but ate raisins for breakfast.  For lunch he ate meat balls, flat bread, no carrots, and ate apricots.  Yesterday afternoon for snack we had cereal and I had two or three choices for the kids.  Reid said, "I wish cereal already had milk in it."  Why?  "You wouldn't have to do the hard work...of pouring it in!"  LOL!  Yes, that is certainly difficult and stressful getting that milk into every bowl!  :)

I asked Reid today if he knew it was the 13th of January!  "Yup! We also have a calendar!"  Haha!  How silly of me!  I have another "silly" that he said, but it will taking some explanation!  You know Reid is frequently "sucking" on his tongue?  (or whatever he is doing!!)  I'll ask him; "What are you sucking on!?!"  He always gets a silly grin, stops sucking, and says; "Nothing!!"  Ha!  Well this morning he was doing it again and Lauralea saw it AND he saw her looking at him.  She didn't say anything, BUT Reid said, "What are you hucking on!?!"  LOL  Cracked me up!!

Here are 3 pictures from this morning: In the first picture he has found a comfortable way to play with his Star Wars guys!  Upside down!  :)  Next he has found another interesting position in which to work on some puzzles.  :)  And the last picture was so cute!  I was in the kitchen putting food on the tray for Lunch and Reid came to the kitchen and said, "Hey Gary!  Come look at Baby Nora."  I loved how he was wrapping her in his blanket!  So sweet.

Then we were reading books - one of which was "Somewhere in the Ocean."  It's kind of a counting book, but one page had 2 baby Orca Whales plus the Momma.  Reid said, "It actually equals 3."  On the next page there was a Mommy Clown Fish and 3 Babies.  Reid said, "It actually equals 4."  Nice job of counting and adding them Reid!!  That's kind of what we were talking about yesterday Lesley. The numbers, colors, letters, etc. all come from the integrated learning that takes place.  Very cool.
