Reid ate half of malt-o-meal cereal and two servings of dried plums for breakfast. For lunch we had roasted "beef kabobs" with zucchini, red peppers, and pineapple. He ate bites of all of that and LOTS of whole wheat elbow noodles topped with applesauce.
I just want to make note of the fact that we're playing outside every morning and enjoying the fresh air before it gets too hot in the afternoon. When the afternoon temperature in the shade is close to 100 degrees like it's been this week I've just been keeping the kids indoors. We had lots of fun chasing bubbles this morning. Reid was ready to go in by lunch time and said, "I'm burning up!" Ha! His face was flushed and he was sweating because he'd been working hard chasing bubbles! He drank lots of water!
I have a note left over from yesterday when Reid said, "Gary, did you know there are old-time fidget spinners out there?" No, I wasn't aware of that. "Before I was born." Haha! Whoa! We're talking old-time stuff now!
Reid and Atley were the first two arrivals at Little Treasures this morning and he was putting his blanket over her head. She was having so much fun and loved how he was playing with her. Look at that great smile in the first picture.
The morning greeting time with Reid is always so cute!! Here are a couple of pictures taken within the first 5 minutes after her arrival. They love on each other and then that's about it for the rest of the morning. So adorable and sweet! Lauralea got to see her greet Reid and said, "She really likes him!"
In these last two pictures - Avi loves this chair just as much as Reid does - and she obviously was there first! So Reid started tossing his blanket over her head and kept saying, "Who turned off the lights? Who turned off the lights?" She didn't care, she just sat there. :)
