Reid ate toasted whole wheat english muffin and lots of oranges for breakfast. He was devouring oranges as fast as I could load them on his plate and he asked, "You got another
can of these?!?" LOL!! (No, but I went and fetched more out of the sack!!) For lunch he ate ground beef, lots of whole wheat elbow noodles, ate most of peas, and lots of applesauce. And he asked the same question at lunch about the noodles; "You got another can of these?!?" Haha! After Lunch he asked, "Gary, can I turn on the hounds?" All I could think of was "who turned the dogs loose!?!" Then I realized he wanted to turn on the ocean sounds that we use for nap time. Ha!!
There will
not be any Blogs tomorrow, June 16th. Little Treasures is closing for the afternoon so Lauralea and I can attend a Memorial service for the precious daughter of some dear friends of ours. Thank you so much to all my Daycare Families for making it possible for us to attend the funeral and support this family.
Daddy Ryan got to see Reid making Nora laugh this morning and it was SO cute and FUNNY!! I never get tired of watching little ones enjoy each other!! In the first picture he had Nora hold the stuffed animal and then he'd knock it out of her hand. She was cracking up!! Which was ALL the encouragement Reid needed to continue!! I think Reid missed his Nora buddy and she was pretty tickled to see him as well.
I asked Reid about his favorite part of your vacation this week and he said, "We found a place that sells ice cream and hot chocolate."..... "and coffee." Nice!! Then he asked me, "Do you know why we don't want Chief to be in flood?" No. Why? "Cause he'll turn dark blue!! Huh!? Haha! I noticed Reid looking at Atley and I asked him if he liked Atley. He said, "No. I told you I like Nora better than anybody." Here are a couple more pictures from this morning's activities.
