Reid - 8/25/2016

Reid ate three servings of cinnamon toast and three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate two servings of baked chicken, ate dinner roll, bites of hash browns, and three servings of canned cherries.  Cooper was SO excited for Reid to come and had been quizzing me every few minutes;  "How many minutes until breakfast?!?"  At breakfast Cooper literally grabbed a handful of grapes to shove in his mouth in an attempt to keep up with Reid.  (Uhhh...just one at a time Coop.  You'll notice Reid's eating with both hands at a high rate of speed, but not shoving in handfuls!)  Cooper finally asked Reid, "How many grapes can you eat?!?"  Reid said, "One."  Cooper said, "One Thousand!"  :)  It's been a treat for all of us to have Reid here today!

Do you think Sophie was happy to see him?  Here's a picture to answer that question!!  Is this cute or what!?!  I took this picture at breakfast and I love how she's basically left her spot at the table and snuggled up right beside Reid.  (You can see her abandoned plate - actually she'd ate a good meal and maybe she was as mesmerized as the rest of us to watch Reid eat!!  Ha!)

I love this picture of the two buddies discussing some important concepts about Star Wars.  Reid brought some Star Wars "thing" with him with lots of characters.  (They told me the name of it, but ...Millennium Something maybe.) They were also discussing what was for lunch.  Haha.  Well, at least Reid was interested in that and Cooper went along with it.  Cooper said, "You like elbow noodles."  Reid said, "Hey Gary!  Are we gonna have elbow noodles?!?"  No, we already had them this week.  His loud and boisterous response cracked me up; "AWWWW!!  COME ON!!!  I'M HUNGRY!!!"  The time was 10:00 and we'd finished breakfast about 9:30!  :

Oh I have to tell you something funny Reid said about Hudson.  Bubba was doing his guttural throaty sounds that he makes.  You probably haven't heard him do it, but he does it a LOT and with a fairly deep voice.  Reid came over to me and said, "Hey Gary!  He's getting some poop out."  LOL  That made me laugh so hard.  (Actually Hudson had pooped about 20 minutes prior.)  Yup, that's pretty much what it sounds like Reid!!
